Long straight road – side view

Location: Bergamannstrasse

The long-run side view Lola does after leaving her apartment is located on Bergamannstrasse. This location was quite difficult to identify as there were no distinctive markers in the film to identify the location apart from only eight frames of footage on Run #3 where there is a place of business shown.

After a Google search, the place of business is identified as H. Albrecht, a grave headstone business, and the address is Bergmannstrasse 55.

Using Google Street View and travelling in the same direction as Lola ran in the film, you can identify the same windows and doors as seen in the film but some of the exterior stonework is now different. The ‘food coop’ plaque on the wall identifies that this is the location used in the film.

Bergmannstrasse is the same location used when Lola runs past the cemetery; it’s on the other side of the road!
